美东时间3月29日，移民局发布最新消息表示，2023财年受名额限制H-1B申请的首轮抽签工作已经完成，并向所有中签申请人发送通知。已经收到首轮中签通知的申请人可从4月1日起至6月30日，向移民局递交纸质版申请材料进入下一步的审理工作。
从2021和2022财年的实际情况来看，移民局均进行了多轮抽签来达到每年的H-1B签证配额。二轮抽签的时间通常在每年的7月和8月，移民局不会在二轮抽签开启前发布任何通知，而是直接完成随机抽签并向中签申请人发送中签通知。届时，雇主或代理律师可登录MyUSCIS来关注二轮抽签的结果。
若在今年6月30日首轮申请材料递交截止后，移民局发现H-1B名额仍有一定空缺，也或将启动后续的抽签程序。在首轮抽签中未中签的申请人无需再次提交电子注册，只需与雇主确定不撤销已提交的注册，即可进入二轮抽签程序。如果二轮抽签仍不能填满本财年H-1B签证的名额，移民局或将启动第三轮抽签，直至达到签证名额上限。我们也将密切关注移民局后续抽签动态，及时发布最新信息。
